In Japan, it is often used to pray for the healthy growth of boys. It's a perfect party theme for your baby. [KIKKOU pattern] The tortoiseshell pattern is a design that imitates the shell of a tortoise. Tortoises are believed to symbolise longevity, health, and protection due to their hard shells that protect them. The “Bishamon-kikkou” pattern used here originates from the armour of Bishamonten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese mythology, who is believed to bring wealth and good fortune. Bishamonten, originating from ancient India and revered in Japan, is worshipped as a deity who wards off disasters and invites blessings. It is considered an especially auspicious design.
