In the wake of Independence Day festivities surrounding the U.S. July 4th holiday, astronomers and image processors at the Space Telescope Science Institute are releasing the Hubble Space Telescope image of a cosmic explosion that is quite similar to fireworks on Earth. In the nearby galaxy, the Small Magellanic Cloud, a massive star has exploded as a supernova, and begun to dissipate its interior into a spectacular display of colourful filaments.

The design is lovely, unfortunately the quality of the envelopes were atrocious... the packaging for them shrunk and started curving the envelopes in the plastic. The paper quality is super thin, and most deteriorated on the edges, causing it to break or appear white (see pictures). The prints for the invitation themselves also had similar issues which made them look very cheap. Unfortunately my partner and I need to send invites ASAP, so we had to cop it and didn't proceed with an exchange. Super unfortunate as the designs were great!
