It covers the New York and New Jersey coasts, with emphasis on the approaches to New York. Coverage extends from Fire Island Light to Sea Girt. The chart’s scale is 1:80,000 at Lat. 40°26’N. Colour shading on the chart indicates various water depths and land elevations. Depth soundings are in feet. Also included on the chart are aids and hazards to navigation.
