Fight Like a Zebra Ehlers-Danlos Awareness (child) T-Shirt

The zebra and it's stripes represent those living with a rare disorder, syndrome, or illness. This design was partly inspired by the concept of rainbow zebra stripes (vs the typical black and white) being a way to communicate the hope and strength that helps a lot of us keep going. I paired that theme with my desire to have an awareness shirt for my own condition (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) (aka EDS) that also clearly stated an attitude of perseverance and courage. After months of not being able to walk and being wheelchair bound, I finally took my first shuffle-like steps tonight and it hit me just how priceless encouragement and hope can be when living with EDS. Those few tiny shuffles across the floor, renewed my hope and the fight in my spirit that I would indeed walk again someday. This design came out of the inspiration and personal celebration for me over that small, but significant, triumph.
