It was built by Ellender Tripplett's kin - their family built Mount Vernon. This couple entertained many of the important people of the day and were know for their gracious hospitality. The Governor, the Boones, and Kit Carson sat at their table. And they always had a meal for weary travelers and those down on their luck. Design profits support Whipporwill Village for the Arts located on Brick House Jack's home turf.
