After listening to Dr. Constancia Ayres from Fiocruz in Brazil and Dr. Fiona Hunter from Brock University in Canada explain how the Zika virus is more related to Culex-associated viruses (like West Nile and Saint Louis encephalitis), I decided to design a mug showing this clade for ZIKV's phylogenetic placement. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
