FAWN in Green Heart Leaves --- Magnet

Don't you love the gifts of serendipity? When I walk around my gardens, I rarely bend down to look under, and into the shrubby area on the side of our property, but that Spring day I did. Oh my goodness! An exquisite newborn fawn sat quietly in the nook of heart-leaf greenery. Mama deer had definitely given it instructions to sit tight and wait for her return. The fawn did not move; it just looked at me. I think Mama was very confident in this hidden spot... and took her time. The fawn did disappear hours later, as silently as it had arrived.
