Father Christmas in Green Coat Painted Tan Paper Holiday Card

Santa has not always worn a red coat with white trim. In an old book I found an image of Father Christmas wearing a green coat. I thought that this variation would make a unique presentation so I incorporated the green coat in this design. Painted on tan, textured art paper a mellow, relaxed Santa is here for an old style, not digitally rendered Christmas card. Other Christmas elements present are holly leaves, a decorated fir tree and presents in his red pack sack. I hope you and the one you send the card to enjoys this creative interpretation of Santa.
