Farmhouse of Takebe, Okayama Jigsaw Puzzle

This vintage photograph presents a farmhouse in Takebe, Okayama, standing alone in the fields along the Asahi River basin. Unlike many rural homes with surrounding groves, this house is open to its landscape, featuring double-layered thatched roofing and wide earthen walls. Its relocated structure reflects the adaptability and evolving styles of Japanese rural architecture.
