Fantasy Protea Tie
I've done this painting of a protea multiple times. Something about the flame-like quality of the petals attracts me. I'm particularly enjoying the image in fantasy colours of magenta, purple, blue and green. I painted it in acrylics this time but used my fingers instead of a paintbrush to get more easily blended and pastel-like effects.
