Wolves sit in the middle of our ecosystem and protect all living things; in fact they all flourish when wolves are present. Takoda (meaning Friend to Everyone) is the Alpha Male of the pack and father to the “six pack." He is an Arctic/Mackenzie with a pitch black father. He epitomises the qualities of a “leader of the pack” and is a true friend to everyone. Since the birth of his pups he has been nursemaid, babysitter, teacher, playmate and tough disciplinarian. He eats last and shares his food if his pups are still hungry. He has a deep, soulful, irresistible, penetrating howl.
