Eye of the Storm Watch

Stainless steel purple eWatch watch with an image of colourful light radiating from an Eye of the Storm globe. Optional clock face. The Eye of the Storm plasma ball was one of the coolest home accessories of the 80s. A plasma ball is a clear glass sphere filled with low density noble gases. Inside the ball is an electrode that causes the gases to glow in flowing streaks of coloured light. When you touch the surface of the ball, lightning bolts run from the electrode to the point of contact. See matching charm, drop earrings and stud earrings. The watch looks exactly as depicted. I was especially pleased with the watch band, which is a nice quality, supple leather. I point this out because an option, which was sold out, was with a multi-colored but clearly plastic band. This is the better choice, in my view. Because it is a gift, i haven't had the opportunity to verify how well it keeps time. the watch appeared exactly as decribed. I say exactly because, by chance, my daughter's name is the same as the picture (!), so it was easy to know what to expect.
