England's Tudor Rose Postcard

This is the Tudor Rose from England and is sometimes know as the Union Rose, is was created after the War of the Roses in 15th Century and it combined the red Rose of Lancaster with the white Rose of York to symbolise the combining of the two warring houses and thus end the war. The red and white Tudor Rose has been used as a heraldic symbol of England ever since and was painted on the famous Round Table used by King Henry Eighth and his court.
