Emperor tarot card poster
The Emperor represents the male force in nature and so I used an Emperor Dragonfly as he paired nicely with the Empress in an insect type of way. He sits on a throne made of cat tails and a lily pad.
It's the 4 card so there's a few sets of 4. In each one of his hands he holds a symbol of one of the 4 elements. The sword for air, the ankh wand for fire, the cigar for earth and the cup for water. The beehive where the Empress resides is in the background. Also there's the hidden face of the Green Man that is also a nature god. If you view the tail of the dragonfly as the nose of the Green Man you should be able to make him out. The blades of grass outline his eyes. There's also a fishhook on the lily pad for those that think that tzaddi is not the star ;)

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
