Beautiful Chinese New Year greeting card done in rich red, with graphics of a golden rabbit, gold and black floral flourish and the symbol for rabbit done in gold. 2023 done in gold, decorates the top left side of the card. New years greetings in Mandarin and Cantonese is done in gold, on the inside of the card. The character Fu or Fook meaning fortune or luck is traditionally displayed upside down on New Years Cards as the symbol inside the card is done. The contrasting color of outside to inside is very striking, as is the woodcut dragon placed over the year 2024. Having the good wishes for the new year in Vietnamese on the top and in English on the side finishes off the front nicely. The simplicity of the interior gave room for me to include the start and end dates of the Year of the Dragon for 2024. It turned out so well that it did not call attention to itself.
