The Hebrew text comes from the ancient piyyut (liturgical poem) by Yannai: "Draw near a day that is neither day nor night." His prayerful poem refers to the Messianic vision of Zachariah 14:7: 'There shall be a continuous day -- only the Lord knows when -- of neither day nor night." Embroidery design © 2016 Rachel E.
