Elegant MacLean Clan Tartan & Duart Castle Coffee Mug

This elegant design features a deep, almost navy, blue background with a rectangle of the Scottish MacLean Clan's tartan centred with an oval photo of the ancient home, Duart Castle. Above the tartan and castle are the words "Duart Castle" while below is the official spelling of the family name. For this inscriptions, a rich gold, ancient appearing font has been selected. Around the edges of the tartan are the Maclean name, in a rich gold script font, spelled in the various ways people of the family have spelled it across the centuries and generations as well as around the world. This is a wonderful keepsake or everyday early morning companion for those who enjoy their family heritage in Scotland.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
