Eastern Washington Moonrise Postcard

Where the wheat fields meet the mountains, eastern Washington always dazzles the mind with it's colour and beauty. This shot was captured as I was returning home from a week long river trip and noticed the moon just barely peaking over the ridge line. I pulled over and waited for the best shot as the sun went away to make room for the moon. This combination of light above the amber waves of grain of Washington is a favourite of mine.
