eagles have been nesting near my home for years and i'm grateful for this proximity to such grand raptors. i've collected lots of pictures of them and of course images capturing flight are both the most difficult to take and usually the most exciting. here is one of my better flight images set against the peaks of the southwestern san juan mountains of colorado.
