A very good portrait style photograph of a big bull elk with his massive set of antlers still clad in velvet taken in the early fall on the prairies of south east Alberta, Canada. On deer the spikes nearest the head are called brow tines on an elk they are refered to as eye guards, this bull would be said to have double eye guards.
