Dunglass Castle – Clan Colquhoun/Calhoun Jigsaw Puzzle

More than one family estate in Scotland bears the name of Dunglass Castle. According to the Colquhoun Society’s website, the original lands of the family of Colquhoun were along the river Clyde at the village of Kilpatrick, where Unfridus de Kilpatrick had his holding, granted by the 3rd Earl of Lennox about 1219. In the 1930s, the British Mexican Petroleum Co. Ltd constructed an oil terminal to the east of the family's Dunglass Castle, leaving it surrounded by a massive industrial site that is unavailable to the public.
