Drinking party at restaurant Kawachiro By Andō, Hiroshige. Kawachirō / Hiroshige-ga. Japanese print shows women dancing and playing musical instruments for two men in a teahouse. Born in Edo, Japan, Hiroshige’s family name was Tokitaro, but he adopted the name of his mentor as per the custom of the time. His first work was a sketch of a procession done at the age of ten, and earned him the title of a prodigy. In 1828, Hiroshige began his own studio, but eventually moved to Kyoto to produce landscapes. His prints became very popular and emulated upon his return to Edo.

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
