Dried Lavender, Cello & Bookcases in Background Postcard

In my former life, there was a library filled with books, and instruments in nearly every room. The day I shot this little image, I was hoping to capture a bit of the feeling I'd been experiencing. A design client had gifted me this sprig of lavender she had grown herself, and the air was filled with its intoxicating scent. Blurred in the background, you can see the hint of one unstained wood bookcase and a cello in the corner propped against a burnt orange wall. What a cosy room.
