Doulton Lambeth Nouveau Barbotine Antique Repro Ceramic Tile

One of three versions of this Art Nouveau/late Victorian Doulton Lambeth tile, reproduced from the antique original in shades of black, grey, and sienna on beige. Available in 4.5 and 6 inch tiles for walls, backsplashes, and fireplace surrounds, as well as other products from coasters and desk accessories to keepsake boxes and other Zazzle items for decorating and gift giving. Barbotine tiles generally have a low relief due to being painted with clay slip However, although this tile looks dimensional, this reproduction is actually flat, printed in a faux relief or trompe l'oeil ("fool the eye") style that captures the look of the raised detailing of the original on a smooth surfaced ceramic tile.
