This idea for this bumper sticker came from a discussion with my students about how deaf people are often misunderstood by police as not following orders. I've seen actual "visor cards" that explain to authorities that failure to respond to voice commands is because of deafness, not defiance. One of my students came up with this as a bumper sticker....I like it better. :) Thanks Justin!

The sticker is fine - I'm just not sure I want the world to know that I'm deaf or that police would see it so I haven't put it on my car after all. It's not as legible at a distance as I thought it would be.
