About "Pisces Rising" A lone Pacific White-sided Dolphin plies the tropical waters of his ocean domain in search of his other half, his mate. Stars and planets glow in a surreal night sky as the zodiac turns in the Heavens. Pisces, the sign of two sea creatures (in this case Dolphins) swimming together is in this scene somehow incomplete. I wanted to depict the loneliness of our marine friends when nature or Man intervenes and separates them. Oil-spills are devastating to all in their vicinity and at all layers both above the water's surface and beneath the ocean depths. I remain hopeful that the actions of Man will soon turn only to ecologically balanced activities and not selfish and harmful operations like off-shore oil-drilling and the gross over-fishing that we have seen to date. Nature shares her magical moments with us in so many ways, so I wanted to highlight her fragile beauty with this Fantasy Art poster "Pisces Rising", especially in support of raising funds for rescuing wildlife and helping people affected by the serious oil-spill disaster currently underway in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. 50% of royalties earned is donated to the Oil-Spill Wildlife Rescue effort in the Gulf.
