Dōjō T - Truncheon & Sword T-Shirt
The Japanese Jutte (police truncheon) was used to disarm sword wielding criminals in Japan throughout the Edō Period. It is a symbol of 'punishing evil and rewarding good.' It is an uncommon weapon is martial arts schools as it was carried by law enforcement, but it's techniques have been retained within many of the old samurai martial art school that still exist today. The front of the shirt reads, 'tanren' or, continuous forging, training. The original brush is by Jinenkan Kanchō, Manaka Unsui.
