Hachi: A Dog's Tale (or Hachiko: A Dog's Story outside the United States) is a 2009 American drama film based on the true story of a faithful Akita , the titular Hachikō . It is a remake of the 1987 movie Hachi-kō (Hachikō Monogatari ) ハチ公物語 (literally "The Tale of Hachiko"). It was directed by Lasse Hallström , written by Stephen P. Lindsey and stars Richard Gere , Joan Allen and Sarah Roemer .
The first foreign premiere was on August 8, 2009, in Japan. To date the film has opened in over 25 countries and continued to open in foreign territories throughout 2010. In the United States the movie was first shown at the Seattle International Film Festival on June 13, 2009. Sony Pictures Entertainment decided to forgo a U.S. theatrical release. According to the Odeon Cinema website the film was given a UK theatrical release on March 12, 2010, courtesy of Entertainment Film Distributors . Box Office Mojo reports that total foreign box office had reached $46.7million as of June 2010.

The experience buying from Zazzle was great -- the custom made product arrived much faster than I expected (I am in Australia) and they kept me updated with progress emails.
The product itself is good quality and I like the simplistic elegant design. The only criticism I have is that it's not really accurately represented by the picture provided. I thought that the mousepad would be a non-porous or laminate surface and as such the gold writing would actually shine against the soft pink. However the design is printed on a thick fabric surface, so the gold colour is just the shade of gold but doesn't stand out from the pink background. (See picture)
FYI the soft pink is stronger in real life than in my personal picture. Good quality printing, slightly different look to what I expected. It also smells quite strong on arrival but it's only been a day so this may fade.
