Dick & Eddie's Drink Coasters

Dick & Eddie’s Friendly Corner, known for its prime rib and dry martinis, was opened in 1948 at P and 21st streets in Sacramento by Dick Posey and Eddie Smith. The two ran the restaurant together until 1954, when Posey left to open Posey’s Cottage at 11th and O. This left Eddie without Dick, but he kept the name and continued the restaurant through 1973 when it was seized by the IRS and closed briefly for nonpayment of taxes.
