In the foreground of this piece we can see a small sailboat just offshore a small beach populated by a number of items, people and palm trees. This scene could take place in somewhat a holy or religious city as the background and top tier is decorated with crucifixes or crosses towering over the foreground of the artwork. Perhaps this angle was an intentional perspective by the artist to signify the religious significance of this city.
