OK, we're reaching across the aisle here... This design was originally inspired by Senator John McCain pick of Governor Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate . . .  imagine that, a Republican picking a "girl" to be Vice President!!!  This design has become popular on it own right as a new baby or baby shower gift, featuring the Republican Party GOP Elephant in pretty pink and white reading "IT'S A GIRL" or gorgeous blue and white reading "IT'S A BOY". But we know that even Democratic babies need fancy t-shirts, etc. too (not to mention their very pregnant mommies!). So this design feature the Democratic Party Donkey in pretty pink and white reading "IT'S A GIRL" or gorgeous blue and white reading "IT'S A BOY".
