"Delusions of Grandeur" - a piece that debuted as part of the group show "What Big Eyes You Have" in Orlando. "Delusions of Grandeur" is one of my favorite psychiatric terms, referring to one has an over-inflated notion of their self-importance. This painting reflects this somewhat - on first impression it may appear to be a simple lovely Rococo portrait, but upon closer inspection you will notice that it is all a facade - the mural is peeling, the mirror is cracked, the fabric is torn and stained, the fruit is attracting flies and nothing is quite as grand as it first may seem. The original itself sold at the show but I have prints & posters available! I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
