"Deep Water #5" Abstract Art by Robert Fagg blue Poster
Taken from a series of abstract paintings in acrylic ink. I have always enjoyed the challenge of painting water. From realistic watercolors and oils to abstract works like this one mostly executed in acrylic ink. "Deep Water #5" is from a series inspired after marathon of watching PBS specials on the life and environment of the world's deepest ocean trenches. "Terrible Beauty" was a thought that come to me while thinking of the fantastic visions that were filmed by some very brave men and women. I'm glad they had the courage to go down there and share that world with us through their film, but such adventures are not for me. I would rather lie on a warm rock and stare into the shallow depths of a clear mountain trout stream. Still depicting my "thoughts" of such wild places in an abstract style is quite enjoyable and as close as I ever want to be to the actual place. Feel free to add your own inspirational text or favourite saying or quote to this poster.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
