The frilly petal edges and dark striped throat of this particular variety gave me an opportunity to play up texture and contrast in this drawing. I do love a challenge! This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
