The greatest to ever put the aqua uniform on, Dan Marino played every snap of his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins. After his draft slide in the 1983 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Quarterback was taken by Miami with the 27th pick. Marino spent 17 seasons down in the 305, but his closest call to glory came in just his second year, as the Dolphins reached the Superbowl, which they unfortunately lost. This was the only time Dan Marino would reach the Big Dance, and he is regarded as the greatest Quarterback to never win a ring. Adjusted for era, he is still in the conversation for the greatest to play the game. He was known for his lightning quick release and pin point accuracy, and always said the perfect pass was indefensible - something he was able to prove time and time again. Outside of football, Marino also starred in hit movie Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, with the likes of Jim Carrey and Courteney Cox. Marino's famous Number 13 was retired by the Dolphins, and he was elected into the Miami Dolphins Honor Roll immediately after he retired.
