About This Design

Dad Stories Loading Please Wait Ceramic Ornament

Get ready for the classic dad pause — you know the one — where he takes a deep breath, flashes a nostalgic grin, and begins a story that somehow starts in 1985 and ends with a life lesson. This witty design captures that iconic moment with humour and heart. Perfect for Father's Day, new dads, or anyone who appreciates the legendary art of dad storytelling, this design is a tribute to all the tall tales, dad jokes, and “back in my day” moments we secretly love. Whether he's about to share his first car story (again) or a tale of walking uphill both ways, this is the perfect way to say: We’re listening, Dad… take your time.

I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her. Unfortunately my first order was deemed lost in the mail which meant it didn't arrive in time to give my daughter when she finished Uni. However the Zazzle Support team were fabulous & organised a replacement quite quickly. My daughter is very happy. Thank you. Nice ornament, love the colours

These Christmas ornaments turned out so beautifully, they were everything I wanted and more. The ceramic has a beautiful gloss coating and looks stunning on our Christmas tree. The printing captured my design perfectly!
