Along with the Minoan civilisation and Mycenaean Greece, the Cycladic people are counted among the three major Aegean cultures. The best-known art of this period are the marble figures usually called "idols" or "figurines". This elegant head is one of the masterpieces of Cycladic marble sculpting. The strict geometric structure, the harmonious proportions, and the abstract quality epitomise those virtues that made Cycladic art a source of inspiration for important 20th-century artists.

This wrapping is very high quality, the paper is nice and thick and the colour is gorgeous. I always use blue at Christmas and was having trouble finding just the right colour and quality - this roll was just perfect. The quality, design and colour are exactly as expected. No disappointments here. Won’t ever go back to cheap wrapping that tears at the corners ever again.
