Cute Wee Bushtit Songbird on Fruit Tree Jigsaw Puzzle
Part brainteaser, part assemble-it-yourself art, this challenging, wildlife-themed puzzle is great for improving muscle memory.
At the end of July, flocks of 15-20 of Bushtits returned to the backyard, descending onto the trees and shrubs. This young fellow--one of many juveniles/immatures successfully fledged earlier this summer--was awaiting his turn on the newly installed suet cage, while as many as 10 would bathe together on the wet grass, which was given a good sprinkling earlier in the morning, and another 10 would be attacking the suet at the same time. I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
