This photograph of a cute barred owl fledgling resting during flight practice is one of the rewards Dan enjoys as a wildlife photographer. He followed this family of owls for several months, from the time they were babies until they finally flew away into the depths of the nature preserve. Although shy by nature, the owl family gradually began to accept Dan and his photo gear as part of their environment, allowing him to capture some wonderful and unique images. Dan will be offering a small selection of his favourites on Zazzle in the near future.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
