This patch recognises the amazing crews of the NASA and USA at the Kennedy Space Centre who prepared, launched and recovered the Space Shuttles druing their amazing career. What a remarkable bunch, and GREAT team work! The MSC Mission Control Centre logo contains the programs controlled by it over time. From the left is Project Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. They are follwed by a satellite dish hinting at Skyland and Apollo/Soyuz, followed by the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. We can't wait until Orion's stars are added!
