Custom Vintage Piano Lesson Mother Cat & Kittens Postcard
This postcard design is a restored copy of The Piano Lesson, an 1897 Victorian painting by famous Dutch-Belgian cat portraitist Henriette Ronner Knip, 1821-1909.
Henriëtte Ronner-Knip painted in the Romantic style and she is best known for her animal paintings; especially of cats. In 1887 Knip was awarded the Order of Leopold and, in 1901, she became a member of the Order of Orange-Nassau. Her son Alfred and daughters Alice and Emma also became artists. Knip often exhibited with her children.

Everyone loves a letter in the mail that’s not a bill and this certainly satisfied many! We have received the most wonderful feedback on the quality of these postcards. We opted for these so we didn’t need to extra cost of envelopes. Although delivery took a little longer than I expected, they were absolutely worth the wait! Perfect!
