Cursive script is becoming a secret code, virtually a foreign language that students no longer learn how to read or write. With the death of letter writing and hand written correspondence we have moved on to computer fonts rather than penmanship. It's not so much good or bad, it's just evolution, cursive script is rapidly becoming archaic. No harm seeing the humour in this. It may open up a job market for senior citizens to be hired as translators! No need to keep an old diary hidden, no one can understand what is written. If it's not print it's gibberish!
