This adorable female Racoon stood on her hind legs for some time, trying to figure out why I was pointing a camera at her. She had 5 young nearby and was searching for food. (She succeeded in finding some!) Raccoons in the wild are magnificent creatures. Those that live near suburbs are in danger from cat and dog attacks. Please keep your pets in at night to help protect beautiful wildlife like this. 50% proceeds from all sales made benefite the Prince Rupert Wildlife Rehab Shelter. Thank you for caring.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
