Cuckoo Field Plate Poster
Enter the woodlands and meet the Cuckoo Dragon.
Small, secretive, and extraordinarily fast, Cuckoo Dragons are common throughout forests and woodlands but rarely seen. Their seemingly innocent nesting behaviour hides a darker survival strategy: females place their eggs in birds’ nests, leaving unsuspecting parents to incubate them. Once hatched, the young dragon’s first day of life is a remarkably ruthless affair.
This Natural Dragons Field Plate presents the Cuckoo Dragon as though documented by naturalists exploring a world where dragons are simply another branch of the animal kingdom. The plate combines a detailed species illustration, field observations, physical statistics, and a sketched nesting observation in a vintage natural-history-inspired design.
Natural Dragons
Dragons aren't monsters or myths. They're wildlife. 🐉

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
