This arched window will create that illusion a view of your own country estate in Europe where you can look out over a vast stretch of green with the only neighbour in sight another grand country house. The weathered stone has a graceful arched frame set into it with 12 panes of glass. Through it you can see the grass and trees leading up to an elegant Georgian house such as those in Jane Austen's novels, partly cloaked in ivy. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
