Crantock Bay Poster
Crantock Bay is situated on the north coast of Cornwall near the hugely popular town of Newquay. The beach becomes a vast expance of golden sand at low tide but rapidly disappears on the incoming tide due to its flat nature. Crantock Bay lies between the points of East Pentire and West Pentire and is bounded on the northeastern side by the River Gannel. Somewhat quieter than the neighboring Fistral Beach at Newquay, and arguably a much nicer beach, Crantock is backed up by huge sand dunes which become a haven for sunbathers.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
