Cotton Mather Tie
Cotton Mather (1663-1728), Puritan pastor and pampheteer. The son of Increase Mather, he is known most particularly for his controversial role during the Salem witch trials. As many Puritans in Amerca were resistant to smallpox vaccinations, Cotton Mather defended the use of innoculations as not being against the will of God, arguing that there was no Biblical principal of truth for their rejection, and receiving such would not stain the purity of religion so precious to them.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different!
