This design features artwork by the post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890). It shows a long corridor in the asylum of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole in St. Rémy, France, where he spent twelve months towards the end of his life, after suffering with poor mental health and after cutting off his own ear. The image is a powerful depiction of the artist's internal emotions and his struggle to deal with them.
