The Coquille River Lighthouse in Bandon, Oregon is no longer in use but is still a fascinating monument of nautical Oregon history with its red and white colours. The river is named after the Coquille Native Americans who inhabited the area. The lighthouse is located in Bullards Beach State Park, although this photo is taken across the river at the Bandon South Jetty Park. The jetty park has a light and fog warning beacon, which are currently operable.
