Conversation Tree Poster
An abstract tree in red and black with small triangular birds perhaps singing in the dawn. Two of the birds one in red and one in black sit having a conversion on a lower branch. But of course the whole composition is like a conversation in shape and colour. The tree is perhaps not unlike a Cedar of Lebanon. According to the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh the Cedar groves of Lebanon were seen as the dwelling place of the gods.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
